Monia Rahman

Having immigrated to Canada with her family at a young age, Monia understands the hopes and difficult decisions behind building a life in a new country.
Her experience includes immigration applications, refugee hearings before the RPD, appeal materials, and Federal Court applications for leave and judicial review. Her work with West Scarborough Community Legal Services strengthened her commitment to access to justice.
Monia holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and an LL.B. from the University of Buckingham. She is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario and Alberta and is a Notary Public in both provinces.
Languages of service: English and Bengali (Bangla).
